Learning Patience

One day, we went to our friends house, who also happens to be our neighbor. The day before we had agreed that we would go swimming that afternoon. But when we got there they were not home. So I thought we should go swimming by ourselves.

But then, I felt the Holy Spirit talking into my mind "Don't go into the pool, you better wait until they are home". So I decided to obey and I went home to my mother.

A little later we went back to see if they were home already, but they were not. So my sister prayed and Jesus helped them come soon, because when we turned around we saw their car driving in. They got out of the car and we went swimming in their swimming pool. It was lots of fun!

So we learned the lesson that we should never go into other's people property without their permission and that we should always be patient when things don't happen when we want them to happen.
